Voice Messages: Audio recordings sent for transcription (processed and deleted immediately after transcription)
Images: Photos sent for text extraction (Premium tier only, processed and deleted immediately)
Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe; we do not store your credit card details
Timezone and Language Preferences: To deliver reminders at the correct time in your preferred language

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: Interaction patterns, feature usage, and command history to improve our AI models
Technical Data: Device type, operating system, IP address, and timestamp of interactions
Conversation History: Recent message exchanges to provide contextual AI responses

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide Core Services: Create, update, delete, and deliver reminders and manage todo lists
AI Processing: Analyze your messages using OpenAI's GPT models to understand intent and extract structured data
Voice & Image Processing: Transcribe voice messages (OpenAI Whisper) and extract text from images (GPT-4 Vision API)
Personalization: Remember your timezone, language preferences, and usage patterns
Billing: Process subscription payments and manage your account tier
Service Improvement: Analyze anonymized usage patterns to improve AI accuracy and add new features
Communication: Send service updates, reminder notifications, and customer support messages

3.1 Essential Service Providers

Your data is stored securely in PostgreSQL databases hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in the US-West2 region.

4.2 Security Measures

Encryption: All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/SSL
Database Security: Cloud SQL with automated backups and point-in-time recovery
Access Control: Strict role-based access with principle of least privilege
API Security: Webhook signature verification and API key authentication

4.3 Data Retention

Active Reminders: Retained until completed or deleted by you
Completed Reminders: Retained for 90 days for reference, then automatically deleted
Conversation History: Last 5 conversations retained for context, older messages automatically removed
Voice/Image Files: Deleted immediately after processing (not stored)
Account Data: Retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of account deletion

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all personal data we store about you
Correction: Update or correct your reminders, todos, and preferences at any time
Deletion: Delete individual reminders/todos or request complete account deletion
Export: Request a machine-readable export of your data
Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from promotional communications (service notifications will continue)
